Apparantly in the new Xbox 360 update to be released on December 4th. We should finally be getting Xvid support.

Can you confirm that you can watch Divx/Xvid files streamed off a NAS box? I am looking at getting either a PS3 or Xbox 360 and one of my key requirements is the ability to watch my movie collection straight off my NAS drives - as I do currently with XBMC on the original Xbox.

Can u give us some more details mate, I've not found a single DivX that doesn't play.

AFAIK it has to be .avi
