Worth wiping before upgrading

Hi guys,

I am about to upgrade my PSPs to 3.8 CFW BTU before I do I was wondering - do you guys just go straight to the next FWs or do you clear out the PSP, returnign to 1.5 before update?

I have had a few weird issues with CFW 2.71 and wondered if that might clear them up?

I havent updated, but if I do, then its straight. Always has been. As for issues with 2.71 if your still on that, then you will need to upgrade to earlier fws, then goto 3.80. Or you could go back to 1.5. Whichever is easier for you I guess. lol.

no need to clear out the PSP or return to 1.5

only thing i do is back up the memory card and format it.

i take it your on 2.71 SE then?

if so you will need to updrade atleast to 3.52 M33-3 before you can install 3.80 M33

My Bad guys - I am on 3.71-M33 Typo...

I will go stright to 3.80 M33-2 and see what happens.

I get lockup in Simpsons and Harvey Birdman. Also When I goto my wireless settings i get an error and can't activate my wireless

Hope 3.80 sorts these.
