whats the best dreambox edit to use to update channel list

been trying for days to update channel list on a dm 500s and cant for the life of me get it to update - whats the best dreambox edit to use ?

still use it for my dm800se now

i must be doing something wrong i havnt done this in years - is there a step by step guide on how to update channel list for 500 s ?
