Phone Unlocking what's it good for?

I have managed to obtain (LEGALLY!) a Nokia 6160 which is an American version of a digital 6110.It is brand spanking new,in the box with all papers,but it has no space for a sim card! It is a pay as you go that u top up with your crdit card with at&t for when u r in the states.It just needs topping up and its ready to roll! Now apart from selling it (which i might do) ,can i use or modify it for any other use? <img src="rolleyes.gif" border="0">

It will have to be trible band to work here But Yank phones do not use sim cards like us here they are all linked to the suppliers computer lite AT+T or Sprint etc the only way to top up is contact whichever company it is locked to or check on the internet for suppliers (in the States) that will supply you with a top up code Hope this helps
