Can someone tell me what is the best chip and easy chip to use on Xbox.

most people are using the softmod method these days. no chip just software and a bit of patience

Xecuter 2.6 CE and Xapt3r Solderless Combo is good and sells at a reasonable price. Otherwise just use softmod, no chip required.

i used to always use teh smartxx chip, but seen how easy the softmod is now, and would prefer to use that if anyone needed it doing.

I have a couple of boxes with X3 and new front panel (LCD + USB).

But as the others say, if you just want to install XBMC and play some games then do a softmod.
