Weird Playstation?

Hey everybody

Ive had a faulty playstation given that was chipped...it didnt work...I cleaned the lens and now it will only work with copied games and not the originals?

Is this bad chipping or a faulty laser....and can it be fixed?

Hey Mikimak is it a playstation 1 or 2?

its maybe just the hex that is loaded onto the chip thats the problem you can get the hex aswell as new lasers or accessories here <a href="https://sslrelay.com/secure.smartchips.net/acatalog/index.html" target="_blank">https://sslrelay.com/secure.smartchips.net/acatalog/index.html</a>

Its An old playstation 1 m8 and the copied games play fine....I think the laser must be ok...so maybee its the chip...good site m8 cheers

there was a really old psx chip that would only let u play copies and not the originals m8, so if u just need one try ur local comp fair.

It may be the lazer turn it upside down and try it then or if that dont work you can get the lazers for about £10 (without the bearings) with £30..

Mikimak <br />iam not 100% about this but i think if its an old psx uv got depending on what chip u had fitted,to get the original games to play u had to have i link wire fitted to the board if this was missed out the copied games would play but u would have no joy with the originals.
