Nice post mate... Shows potential.

Apparently the Wii is more than capable of playing DVD's, it just needs some software to do it, but Nintendo didnt want to do this for whatever reason.

Maybe someone will release something to make this happen in the future... Maybe some like the freeloader for the GameCube, put it in, eject then just insert your DVD.
