Don't use twitter. Added tweetboard.com to hosts file. Job done.

im afraid with the darness skin it is a little anoying and draws your eyes towards it.

i think it would be better up by the facebook tab ..

Its doing my head in its bad enough when i go to sites that have a add following you down the page never mind on the forums i like to frequent,
is there a way to turn it off in user cp anywere?

Nope, hence me adding it to my hosts file. It was that or add it as a custom rule to adblock plus...
