TV series Foundation

Has anyone watched this? The reviews are very mixed, I can't decide whether to watch it.

Only loosely based on the books, but if you've read them you'll know that they're unfilmable anyway.

I'm enjoying it, and think the IMDB 7.5 rating is about right, but it's not to everyone's taste.

Well ive only watched a few episodes but enjoying it so far, as for it getting "silly" dont most sci-fi offerings get silly at some point ?

Been watching since the start and it's a grand show but a bit hard to follow cause it's jumping between so many times and there is so many characters in it.

@nara , yeah ive only just started season 1 i noticed you had originally said you where enjoying it , hoping if it gets really silly it's in season 2 lol
im sure i read foundation trilogy many many years ago but can't really remember it tbh, pretty sure i have the books on my Kindle maybe time to revisit.
