Welcome.

If you do not mind losing all data, you can boot the receiver holding the up button. Wehn it boots you will get an option to perform a factory reset. All data including any gifts etc will be lost.

old ish post i know but i remember doing this through tuxbox commander and the remote control, i think; couple years back, you can manually change the pwd file with the ASCII code for "dreambox" ( i think its ascii anyway) then your password is changed to dreambox. try google this see how you get on
