TVEi and DW-TV have started broadcasting on channels 835 and 834 respectively on Sky Digital. They are available in the Sky family pack.
TVEi is the Spanish-language international network from Spain's state broadcaster, offering a mix of news and entertainment. Javier Martin-Dominguez, Director for Thematic and International Channels at TVE said:
"The mix of news, fiction, and language related programming makes TVEi a great companion for the audience that looks for the best entertainment in Spanish."
DW-TV is an international TV network featuring news and documentary programmes from Germany. Deutsche Welle's director general said:
"We are especially happy to launch on Sky digital and make our channel available to the German community living in the UK and Ireland. In addition, we also offer news and cultural information in German and English right from the heart of Europe to a potential audience of seven million homes."
Sky's director of channels and operations, Lesley Mackenzie, said:
