Shevaun 'safe and well in UK'
Shevaun Pennington's is back in the UK
Missing schoolgirl Shevaun Pennington is safe and well and in the UK, police have announced.
Toby Studabaker, the 31-year-old ex-marine she went missing with, is now in custody in Germany after being arrested on suspicion of abduction.
The pair were not together when 12-year-old Shevaun was found, and she is now with officers from Greater Manchester Police at an unknown location.
Police said they were not aware that she had been harmed, but investigations would continue.
Second phonecall
A spokesman for Greater Manchester Police said officers knew beforehand that she was coming back to the UK.
They said she had made a second phonecall to her parents on Wednesday morning.
Toby Studabaker, 31, was held in Frankfurt - four days after he went on the run with the Manchester schoolgirl.
Greater Manchester Police said Mr Studabaker was arrested with the support of the German authorities and the FBI.
