Share feed for sky box - just for teletext access

Hi,

I just bought a Vu Solo 2 for my living room and already have a twin cable coming in from sky. I need to use both the cable for the two tuners although I would also like to keep the sky box just for teletext access via the red button.

is it possible this would work if I were to split one cable?

edit:

If not possible would it work if the cable was split but only one was being used at one time. i.e. say it was connected to my tuner B on solo 2 but was not used and I could then use sky box. Only time I would not be able to use the sky box would be when tuner B was being used for example if I was recording etc on one tuner and watching on another?

you can loop through Tuner A to tuner b

Sorry not sure what loop through does but do you mean to say I could just have one cable on tuner A set tuner B to loop through and it should be fine?

go in tuner configuration and loop tuner a to tuner b

What is the benefit of doing this as I have just done it and it does not work.

I want to record using one tuner and watch another channel using other tuner. I believe for that I need two sat cables in each tuner right?
