Shani Funprom Format Error

Hi

I'm trying to use the shani funcard temp fix for ntl pure as flash using funprom, a cheap progger and a funcard 4, it produces a format error. I've used other flash images in the past with no probs.

I don't think I'll be investing in a better progger anytime soon as I suspect we'll all be stuffed pretty soon with the advent of N3 , but it would be nice to have a swan song between today's 3_7 update and N3.

I've found a fix for this:

For those who are exeriencing simular 'Format Error' issues with Funprom, simply open the shani flash file in a hex editor and remove the first line of code:

Save as hex, open in Funprom and hey presto!

are u using the correct one for ur area ??? i.e pure ntl flash...
