Replaceing felt roof with EPDM rubber roof.

Want to replace an old felt roof with epdm. Now im more than confident I can do this myself but everything iv seen and read so far has been done on in a single flat roof with 4 edges.

The roof I have is on the side of the house with boiler flue in the middle so the question is is epdm still suitable?

So would I remove the flue install epdm then use that flashing to reinstall flue pipe.

You should use resitrix for the epdm. Best one on the market.

in regards to going around the flue, you can buy a flashing which goes around the flue, you can then dress up to it.
If you buy one make sure it's compatible with your boiler flue.

Totally agree - by a ready made flashing - don't try cutting costs by thinking you can make something up yourself - it could leak or cause a fire if you don't get it right.
