PS3 Music files etc

Hi all,

Does anyone know if the ps3 can access ant music files from shared folders on a home network like the Xbox 360 can???

I;ve had mess around trying to find ways of doing it buy cant find any way whatsoever.

you can do it if you install linux and then install vlc on ya ps3 you can play music dixx vcd out you wont really but linux ydl will not yet connect to windows vista shared but no problem with xp hope this helps m8

cheers guys. i've still got to install the YDL linux on my ps3 yet. But tried the ps tunnel and it works a treat
