pc and xbox how to connect ?

hi all, just having a play at streaming movies to tv via xbox. hit a brickwall straight away, pc cant see xbox. i used to ftp games from xbox to pc years ago and worked ok. running vista now and cant get the pc to see xbox. using buffalo router and slayers executer2. my 1st job is how do i get pc to see xbox. the connection is ok because xbox assigned an IP..... i know i must be missing something simple, thnx for any replies

install network magic m8 the trail one will do and then right click on your video folder and open sharing and see if that works
