unzip the .tar file then copy it to your recievers tmp folder, manually install (blue button) then find it in your plugins (yellow button)

tested on Dreambox 500s and Technomate 9100

if i remember rightly, last time i tried to access my box via ftp, it wanted a password, and i can't for the life of me remember what it was dohhhhhhh.

is there any way to reset the box to default, and start again, and not lose anything. i.e. my router settings and channel listings, and boquets etc.... or shall i just leave it alone.

al your settings should be user : root password : dreambox

youve done it before as you sent your config into it, but outside your network are all blocked

i tried that, but i think we changed it when a while ago, if i remember rightly, we were all asked to change passwords to restrict others going into other peoples boxes.........dreambox's that is
