Orientation Of Card Reader In Clone DM800SE

Hi,

Can anyone please confirm the orientation of the card reader in a close DM800SE, ie, does a viewing card go into the reader with the card chip facing upwards or facing downwards?

I am having trouble viewing a channel that the card is supposed to clear and before I look at other possibilities I would like to eliminate the card/card reader as the cause of the problem.

Not got that exact model but EVERY other dreambox model i have or have owned has been face down

chip face down also if there are 2 readers make sure you have it in the correct one as set in cline

Thx for the info guys, most appreciated, I had forgotten about the card slot being defined in the config file containing the boxkey. I was thinking that my boxkey conversion might have been wrong rather than it being the specific slot.

All working OK now.
