Pompey also signed John Utaka aswell today from Rennes.

He can be used as a winger or a striker.

However, redknapp did say he had another 2 in the pipeline a winger and a forward, and i think he will definately get the forward, hopefully defoe (Wishful i know but possible) as we currently have 4 strikers and 3 of them are off to the african nations cup soon!!!

I think he's good, but I'd be worried about his fitness. Hasn't he got unusually short calf muscles, which is why he takes such short steps? I'm glad someone in the Prem has given him a chance, he looks too good for the Championship. You've got to trust Harry Redknapp too, given his track record of getting the best out of players.
