the wii ur able to remove the update etc and change the region because them areas of the disc on the wii arnt encrypted, or protected in any way, so resigning isnt needed with the wii when modifiying the region code or removing the update, all modchips will do this automatically without you hacking up your iso now anyways

360 does have a kernal hack but it doesnt work on most consoles cus they are all updated to a newer software version and it only worked on an older version and using King Kong, nothing much has came out of it worth while either

so this is something that cant be added or remove from the iso with say abgx360. if u look at some of the wii software it changes updates changes yank games to pal .. cant see why this is not possible

The xbox360 isn't hacked mate, it's only the drive.

The system still checks to make sure that everything that is executed on the system is signed by MS, so basically if the code wasn't signed by MS then the system will refuse to boot it, that's why we can't modify the images (change the region coding etc) and that's why we don't have any homebrew apps running.

Any of the non-stealth or some Xtremes.
If its a lite-on though there is no non stealth firmware.

but 1.51 should be out very shortly to address the issue, it is already being tested.

slight change here , my m8s elite l flashed when the first 79 f/w came out , can l still boot pc with drive door open and it will find the drive or do l still have to do the wave thing m8 ? , l know 78 r ok didnt know about 79 .. cheers

sorry mate, couldnt quite get what your saying.

If your talking about getting it into Mode B by powering it on with the drive tray open then yes it will show up in windows, but you will have to do the 79Unlock with the Cd, to read/write to the 79.

Hitachi 1.51 is thought to be out by the end of the week.
