I'm new to this, but what do you mean by SoftCam?

A softcam is a file containing several "keys" these will open some locked channels for you.

What firmware/version would you recommend for the SmartBox HD6000? I can't download, as I need more posts on this forum. If possible, could someone please email me the latest recommended firmware?
