I have an iPhone4, about 18 months old. It's never been my favourite phone, but it has worked flawlessly- until today that is.
I tried ringing someone & got cut off as soon as they answered. I just assumed it was their phone, & carried on with my day. But when I took the phone out later, I noticed it was off. Stone dead. Wouldn't come on, tried a charger (even though the battery still had plenty of charge), wouldn't even register on the PC.
I popped the back off, checked the battery voltage (3.9V) and, not finding anything obvious I put it back together. And it worked! A bit grumpy to start with- slow to react, time wrong etc., but it received a 'someone tried to call you' text, then all was well again.
It is still on iOs 6.1.3 (as I've heard horror stories about 7.x on 4's).
I am wondering if this is perhaps the beginning of the end or if it's something that just happens & not to worry about it.
