iPod i pod help

hi ive just got one of these ipod classic and im trying to put music on it now i thought you could just connect to pc via usb then go into my comp find the ipod drive drag and drop not the case so could someone point me in right direction please

Do you have iTunes installed yet?

You need to have this installed to transfer music. Once you have it, just drag the albums over to your iPod.
