having managed to modify my osc and create a gold card for ppv, i'm hungry for more know-how. Dad has a mosc that he acquired some time ago and has now gone down, not updating and coming up with either cannot validate card or this channel is not in ur subscription. I know I can just delete all extracted keys and copy my own valid ones onto his, but is there another way? would changing the operational keys and the expiry date on subscription work or is this a sign that the subscription has ended on this card and so the mk01 has been cancelled by the powers that be?
Do u use secanix editor to just change the operational keys? I only know how to save all keys at the moment and copy them to a dead card.

long winded i know but any help to extend my very limited knowledge would be greatly received

all you need to do is take the valid original put it in your programmer and use MKF, extract the valid keys> PPUA and MK01 then just copy these to your other osc.
then you'll have two of the same card, the dates and all other codes will update when the card updates.

easy enuf

rgds.

How do you copy all the keys and dates from the MKF file onto an original card? Does MKF have a fucntion to load them all at once?

When you have extracted all keys, there is an option in MKFind to save the key file. When saved, put your other OSC into your programmer, then load the key file you have just saved then write the changes to the card

dobsoneo, is this the only way to do it? and does is mean that the mk01 currently on his card is invalid. it'd obviously be useful to have as a spare if i get any probs with mine. but does the fact that it hasn't updated and is getting ecm'd mean it's dead?
