Newly launched niche station The Horror Channel is expanding its broadcasting hours after just a month on air.
Commencing next Monday (May 31), the channel's start time will be brought forward from 6pm to 2pm daily.
The move comes after ratings figures show that 3.45 million viewers tuned in dduring the first 16 days.
Managing director Tony Hazell said: "The Horror Channel's phenomenal 0.06% audience share is in addition to nearly one million hits on our website. This clearly shows the horror genre's broad appeal as it makes its bold resurgence into the mainstream."
