Browsing the Google Labs I came across this gem of a tool called Google Web Accelerator.

According to Google's FAQ for this product, the Web Accelerator can significantly speed up your web surfing experience by caching information on Google's servers for faster delivery to your PC. The interesting thing is that it's designed for broadband connections, not dialup. Since I'm running on cable, I wonder if I will really see a difference?

Anyway, I'm about to install it. I'll let you know how it goes. Needless to say, it's FREE.

cheers mate for the info. I have tried this before and it doesn't speed up the process at all. I'm on the 2mb broadband and it is already fast.
