I agree ....
IMGBurn is in my opinion the best and most compatable burner available, and its 100% FREE
I have been using it since it was released after DVD Decrypter was forced to stop being updated, its by the same guy just now does burning. But it does this very well, will even burn Wii/Xbox/Xbox360/PS1/PS2 games that actually work .....
And also burns DVD-dual layer films that are burnt correctly and not what the software assumes is correct
It will even ask if you are burning a DVD if you just choose the folder with the video files, even if you have not created the correct folders and burn the DVD correctly ... unlike a lot of other alleged commercial burning software which will just burn what you tell it and let you guess what you did wrong when it won't play at all or just quit with an error and not bother telling you why it failed
Once installed, thats it. The default settings will let you do everything without banging your head against the wall when things go wrong
And, YOU control the burn speed if you wish to burn it slower not just assume because you have a x18 burner that you want to burn at x18 and end up with a coaster or a crap backup simply because its been burnt too fast
Yes, I like IMGBurn. In fact its all that is installed for burning, apart from CDDA Extractor for my audio CD's. IMGBurn can burn audio CD's as well, but not as accurate as its DVD burns
