A ferry has run aground off the west coast of Scotland in hurricane-force winds, leaving the 100 people on board stranded.
According to reports, 46 of those on the vessel are passengers but they are all safe and well.
The P&O European Highlander hit a sandbank at Cairnryan on Loch Ryan at around 6am this morning.
Winds at the time were reaching speeds of more than 100 knots.
It is currently sitting on shingle beach and bad weather conditions are preventing tug boats reaching it.
Sky News' James Matthews said: "My understanding is that the ferry is on an even keel."
