eurovox red problem

yesterday i flashed the latest image to a friends eurovox(red) last night i got it all working on the tv so i gave it back to my friend. anyway he has contacted me today to say that while hes watching every now and again the pic freezes and goes to a black screen and the box has to be rebooted to get the picture back and other problem is he said it keeps pixelating the screen. just wondering if anyone else had a similar problem with this image or a possible fix. do you think it maybe a bad flash and to redo it ?

Signal too strong or weak. Also check connections.

Tell him to press info twice on the pixelating channels and note the frequency then go to menu,installation hilite the problem frequency and look at the coloured button options, choose edit and tweak the frequency ie: 282.000 change to 282.750
then save and exit and see if that helps.
