Eubank Jr triggers Beefy rematch clause

Middleweight Chris Eubank Jr. will force a rematch with Liam “Beefy” Smith and seek to avenge his shock KO loss to Smith on January 22.
In a short message on Twitter, Eubank wrote,
“This morning I activated the rematch clause via my lawyers and sent to my promoters Wasserman. Happy Valentines Day Liam Beefy Smith.”
The Smith Team has indicated that they wish to stage the rematch at the 54,000-seat Anfield Stadium in Smith’s hometown of Liverpool at the end of May.

I'm not quite how or what he can do different. I've always been of the opinion he doesn't hit hard and he doesn't have stamina to see out a 12 rounder. I did think he might catch Smith 1st time round but after a the 2nd rd I knew that weren't going to happen. I suppose its the best way to go about maximizing a big pay day before throwing the towel in for good, 55k and TV money?, surely can't have any ambition left.


But if it was me then I would do the exact same thing, cash in while it's there
