Dell SC440 small server

Surplus to requirements now, guessing about 5 years old but the asset tag is JDTB03J so you can find out from Dell pretty easy.

Current spec is with 3Gb ram (ECC with correctable error revealed under diagnostics); 256Gb hard drive and VMware ESXi 4.1 installed.

Will run two reasonable OS VMs at the same time. Probably do better with more memory and disk. I've been running Linux and Windows Server 2003 for about 3 years.

Pretty heavy so I guess £30 to ship but I don't want any more than carriage, collect or meet for free.

pick it up somebody .... A nice home server well worth it i got one of these about the same 5 or 6 years ago.

i have 4 hdd in mine and chuggs away in the corner minding its own business, touch wood its never missed a beat
