Seems to me that if you're over 60 then taking on the cost of retraining, with or without a student loan, is probably not high on your list of priorities.

After all, you're probably working because you can't afford to retire. I know a minority prefer to keep working but a 3-year degree course at a cost of over £20k? I think not.

Mind, as a working (sic) MP, author of numerous books and wealth estimated at around £2 million, tuition fees probably count as small change...
 
When (and thats a real big when) M P'S get into the real world then maybe i will listen.
Listen to pm question and all the baying etc.How can anyone take Parliament seriously when all that goes on.
