Went to order some new flooring for my kitchen at Carpet right.


Wanted 20 square metres @ £23.99 per metre.Total cost of almost £480.00.


All was fine until they said that delivery would be £29.00.


I live less than a mile from the store.


Needless to say i told them where to shove their flooring and let rip with a few expletives on my way out!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have just had my flooring done by Carpetright. Very impressed with the fitting but I got the same response as you regards the delivery cost.

The salesman's face was a picture when I said no need to deliver it, I've already seen you have enough in store, I'll just take it now. The delivery was quickly removed and everything delivered F.O.C.

just got a delivery today from a place called the big warehouse . same carpet in carpetright was £23 per m2 got it for £16.50 per m2 and free delivery and it was 250 miles away

Ended up using this place below.Got the same flooring for £10.49 a metre and FREE next day delivery.

Also ordered laminate flooring for my dining room.Great price and again FREE next day delivery.

I was going to order from there as it was 25p cheaper than the one I posted but its a 1 man delivery and the carpet I picked was heavy
the place I posted price matched and 2 man team so I didn't need to be there

that lot above sold me what they didnt have tried to offer me crap choices had a 10 day fight for a refund
online carpets for me piss artists
would avoid like the plague
