Now i think is this real....shall i give them the information they require...after all its Barclays Bank.....then in a true moment of insperation..it comes to me..I DONT HAVE A BARCLAYS ACCOUNT...lol
Afte doing some dns searches, it turns up a PObox in the states...domain reg the same day. yahoo nameservers...well it was a good looking fake site, even used the Banks own links too....but the big mistake was asking for the WHOLE MEMORABLE WORD!!! i know they only ask for letters from that.
so jusy logged onto the banks real web site..and gave them the details of the mail.

Within 3hrs, the site had been shut down.

I had an e-mail come about 2 weeks ago, just binned it didnt give it a second look.

I'm always getting these emails...Barclays, Lloyds etc...i just delete them.
On a side note, if you simply hold your mouse over the link in these emails you should see the url it points to on the bottom of your screen, this always works for me and it means you don't even need ti click the link to see it's a fake!
