CD & DVD Backup blazin' squad - copy protected album

Can anyone help? I am trying to back up Blazin' Squad, a double CD album to use in my car. At this moment my other computer which has a Plextor 12/10/32/A drive is trying to copy the said album with Clone CD. Up to now it has taken four and a half hours to read 23%. If anyone knows of any better software to use to make the backup it would be appreciated. The only other way, which I know of, to copy the album is to use Wave Lab and play it into the computer and record it as MP3. If all else fails I'll just do this.

I managed to copy the copy protected Blazin' Squad by playing the CD directly into my sound card and recording in MP3 format with Wave Lab which I got from the internet. Them people that devised the copy protection for the CD are getting over paid for what they do! Since it only took me 5 mins to crack weeks of their work and I am not a computer-specialist. All of which, is just to stop me using a copy in my car and keep the original in the house.
