Maybe just bad luck, mines lasted 7 years so far but it's plasma

My parents LG TV takes ages to come on. It's a bit like the old valve tvs from years ago. Is it worth getting this repaired?. It is 7 years old.

I bought a 42" lg plasma from richersounds with 5 year warranty.
They had it back 3 times, in the end swapped for a samsung smart tv and never had any issues.

4K is pretty pointless until they get some material out, OK maybe netflix has it but until a mainstream provider such as satellite or Freeview (maybe in 20 years LOL) starts broadcasting its as lame as 3D is.

john lewis as well and with 5 year g/tee noticed theres a sat tuner on this model but not mentioned saleschap said to me its because they are not freesat branded and can not use there epg they do not mention satellitte seriously thinking about this to replace the unsmart sony not 3d but dont need it anyway just need to convince someone else if you know who i meen

It will be one of the caps on its way out for a guess . I fixed a m8s for him for £1.89 that's for the part.(re miggy)
