if you have psp ver 1.5 can you play copies of all the new games that are released or do you need to upgrade your firm ware, also is it worth buying 1.5 version as i have a new one that is version h on packaging which i guess is no good for copies. but if the old version lets you play basically anything i will try to get one of those as it is for my son's birthday . thanks for any help that you can give me .:Clap: :Clap:

1.5 is the best to go for, also vesion 2.00 as you can downgrade them

you can play most backups not every single game but most of them.

most new games that are released will require the firmware to be upgraded beyond 2.0

but some will still play...... but not them all.

back-ups will only play on a version 1.50

anything below a 2.00 and including a 2.00 can be modified to play back-ups.

as stated, not all new games are playable, but are being hacked as we speak to enable us to play them.
