downloaded and upgraded about a month ago for windows 7, super smooth transition and I had a lot of crap on my hd. So far no problems with gaming side of things, all high end graphic games run as smooth if not better.

The only thing I could say bad about windows 10 so far is that it is not compatible with a few older games I have tried. They all run put hit a key (escape key seems to be most annoying one) and some could jump back to desktop or crash all together
My biggest fear is that all my beloved old games are not running with windows 10. Until now I'm still on windows 7, maybe I will upgrade during the christmas holidays.
You can roll back to Win7 if it doesn't agree with you.
Yeah, I know, but as leemoo already said, you have only one month. Currently I'm a little bit busy due to work. The PC on which I may upgrade to Windows 10 was used the last time in september .You can roll back to Win7 if it doesn't agree with you.
anyone knows if programs like dreamboxedit will work on windows 10?

Tried with no luck. It is a pretty widespread issue from what I can tell on these Dell machines using this reader. I will be patient.
You only have a month to do this though.
I noticed on a laptop I updated my AV stopped updating but a reinstall sorted that out.
