Things have improved somewhat since my earlier thread, and internet speed has actually made it into single figures. Seriously- that's good for here! I was speed-checking on Ookla the other day & saw this, just wondered if anyone has heard of or used this. The blurb seems to make sense, but it often does until you look underneath the gloss.....

Speedify - Speed up everything you do online

i dont think thats possible most isps lock you into the speeds your paying for.

Neither is @trevortron? Not tried Speedify but channel bonding works fine as a rule, many organisations use it to improve reliability.

You couldn't be more correct m8. Fibre? Wossat?? I'm 800m from switch & they could only manage 2Mb on copper- and that was on a good day going downhill with the wind behind it. 1Mb was the norm, so I changed to 4G- except they forgot to mention that 4G hasn't actually reached this area yet so stuck with 3G which is still way better than the the DSL offering.
Fibre?? We can dream.....

i did channel bonding with 10 Virgin media ambit 250 modems, it worked superb, used wingate to do it, back in the day where the top speed was 10 meg
