cant get over this now . how many times can they not repair something right . they have had it back 2 times and had it for 4 weeks plus 2 lots of engineers looked at it at home .. under a year old too . six months of that with the same problem ??

the first time it went away they told me they had changed the video card . then the second time they told me nothing was changed the first time ? and now changing the whole board ..

crap service this , not cheap set . l got one for the father in law at the same time and his as been fine ,

might wait till his on holiday and swap it lol

 
Take it back to where you got it and kick up a fuss. You should be entitled to a replacement. It's an expensive set and for it to go wrong so many times, you can surely persuade them into giving you a replacement.

Depends who's coming out to look at it. A lot of places don't send the set back to the manufacturer and they go to an independent company authorized to carry out warranty repairs and I know the guy the shop I used to work for that carried out warranty repairs for us wasn't exactly dedicated. A lot of items made multiple appearances back.
 
i had same bother with 32 crt unit ,shower of fookers will never buy any Samsung product again

I am having the same problems with my 40" LCD. They send out the wrong parts to engineers and don't keep them updated. NOt good really

thanx lol .. have to wait for them to phone me know . they have to have a meeting is see if they should replace the tv ? on there computer it says l have had 4 repairs . 2 for lines and 2 for green picture . its was lines and green picture everytime !!
 
sounds like an independant company is repairing it mate, they should have a unit they can swap out and take yours in to use for parts...sounds like theyve tried to replace the inverter boards but the error hasnt turned out to be the boards its actually the screen itself and the best way around it is to swap the tv for another unit as yours is only good for spares
 
they phone me today saying they have 2 types of fault listed so they will try and repair again . l said l will wait till after xmas and they said well the guarantee runs out then ? l have 3 years warranty ? see said u only have 1 years manufactures warranty .. so l phoned the shop l got it from and they said bring it back and we will give a full refund and the new model of the same tv is in stock and its 60 pounds cheaper than l paid ..

should of phone them first lol , didnt think they would do that and samsung never told me .

Get a new one from the shop but first get the serial number of that tv & phone Samsung to find out if that set has the latest firmware also find out if the screen was made at there outlet. Because they can't keep up with demand they have other companies making the screens to there spec & thats where a lot problems take place. I don't know what tv you've got but some of these tv's are 10 bit screens & Samsung sometimes changes them to a 8 bit screen without notice.
 
got a new one . the latest one and its was cheaper that the one l got last year (*140 in the pocket up lol) and another 3 years warranty
