First of all, do this...

MENU
SETUP
SYSTEM SETTINGS
OSD SETTINGS
TUXTEXT POSITION (YELLOW)

Position the two right angles at the top left and bottom right corners of your tv. Doesn't need to be perfect, probably better if you bring them in a bit and not exactly on the edge.

OK when done
Green to save or highlight Save and press OK

Exit out the menus and return to Tuxbox Commander.

Now...follow these instruction. It will take a while but should work.

You need to use the remote to do everything. When you're adding characters it will be like texting on your mobile phone. Press '7' 4 times to get an 'S', etc etc.

Scroll down to var and press ok
Scroll down to tuxbox and press ok
Scroll down to config and press ok
Scroll down to enigma and press ok
Scroll down to cable and press ok

You should have a list of userbouquet files with numbers and letters after them. You need to find the Sports bouquet. On my box, it was called userbouquet.d7d3e4.tv. Highlight the file and press '4' to edit. You can see at the bottom of the screen it tells you what each button on the remote does.

At the top of the file it will say what each bouquet is called.

For example, my Sports bouquet is called 'Sport' so at the top of my file it says...

#NAME Sport

Ok so far? Good. :)

So you've found the sports bouquet and you see a load of lines that start...

#SERVICE: 1:0:1: bla bla bla

These are the individual channels in your sports bouquet.

Highlight the line directly under the #NAME Sport line and press GREEN twice. This should create two empty lines at the top of your page.

Highlight the first empty line and press OK.
The bottom of the screen should change to show you what each key on the remote does. Use these buttons to enter the following text...

Code:
You don't have permission to view the code content. Log in or register now.
*** Note there's a space after #SERVICE: ***

The 6a4 is the service id for the channel
The 7 is the transponder id
These numbers are for ex-tw only.
For ex-ntl is might be this but I'm not sure because I can't test it.

Code:
You don't have permission to view the code content. Log in or register now.
Anyway...by now you should have used the buttons on the remote to enter that text.

If you want the '#' press 0
If you want the ':' press 1 until it comes up. Watch out for the ';' before it.
If you want capital letters for the SERVICE, press 'yellow'

Now highlight the second blank line that you created and press ok.

Put the following text in...
Code:
You don't have permission to view the code content. Log in or register now.
So now you should have the following at the top of your userbouquet file...
Code:
You don't have permission to view the code content. Log in or register now.
Press EXIT on the remote then RED to save.
Press EXIT on the remote then RED to save. (yes again lol)

Select the Reload Channels option.

Check your Sports bouquet and it should be at the top.

If you want to move it elsewhere in the list, use Service Organising from the Setup menu.

I hope this works, it did for me, and you get the channel.

:)

adding tuxbox to noob inigma image

hi guys been trying to get the box office on all night alittle help please. How do install tuxbox once ive ftp'd it to the temp folder?
thanx

https://www.digitalworldz.co.uk/index.php?resources/1671/

Tuxbox Commander v1.13

Extract rar file and copy the .tar.bz2 file to the /tmp folder and install via the Manual Addons menu if your image has one.

If not, connect via telnet and do the following...

cd /tmp
bunzip2 /tmp/tuxcom_1.13_060124.tar.bz2
tar -xvf /tmp/tuxcom_1.13_060124.tar

If you can ftp to the box, why not edit the userbouquet file that way instead of installing tuxbox commander?

Go to /var/tuxbox/config/enigma/cable and look for the Sport bouquet. You can right click on each file then select 'view' and the name of the bouquet will be at the top. Once you find it, right click the file and select 'edit', add the lines to get the channel, save and close.

Reload channels and it's there.

#SERVICE: 1:0:1:6a4:7:f020:0:0:0:0:

:Smokin:

@Titan, try /etc/enigma/cable.

@mojo247, press <enter> when you've finished entering everything in. Then you should be able to use the down arrow to move to the next line. Press OK again to edit the line and <enter> again when you've finished.

ok nearly there mate do i paste all this in and save?#DESCRIPTION: Sky Box Office Sports#SERVICE: 1:0:1:6a4:7:f020:0:0:0:0:
#DESCRIPTION: Sky Box Office Sports
and how do i reload the channels please

I don't know what you've done to the formatting on your last post but this is what you paste in.

Code:
You don't have permission to view the code content. Log in or register now.
Put it anywhere in the file, keep to the formatting of the file, if you open it up you'll see.

To reload channels, telnet to the box and paste this command.

Code:
You don't have permission to view the code content. Log in or register now.
To telnet, START > RUN > telnet ip.address.of.dreambox

Username: root
Password: dreambox

Right click and paste.

Or open up your browser and paste this into the address bar.

(obviously replace xxx.xxx with your own ip address)

I done what you asked mate in my browser and a page opened saying +ok
i just want to say regardless if this works im very greatful for all your help.

well its on!!! the advertising of the fight anyway nice one mate. For some reason my enigma folder was in an extension of tuxbox folder.Anyway i owe you a drink mate thanx

I had to edit the .tv file that was in enigma folder as when i did the one in cable folder it didnt change anything. BUT it works now :) Not sure why the ones in engima work and not cable tho.

If its not working for you with DF's instructions then look in the enigma folder (var/tuxbox/config/enigma/) and edit the correct file in there. Maybe it will work for you as well.

regards
