Ok i can confirm now that you can use your Nas drive without mounting it using only Daemon tools.
I have reformatted my computer installed Windows xp pro and installed Blade Trinity v2 on my Dbox.
I set up Movie player in the usual way.Installed Daemon tools on my laptop. and mapped the nas drive so it can be seen in My computer. Next open up Daemon tools point it to a file on your nas drive, changing file type to "all files" and choose a file.
go back to Dbox... movie player.. file via Vlc.. and there is your Nas drive. Just point it at the movie you want to play and it will stream to Dbox. I am running a wireless network and have no trouble streaming movies. Only problem is i can't get the audio to work when streaming.

Edit Avi Audio will play but not vob Audio.
