Kodi: Covenant and other streaming add-ons shut down following legal threats

time to move on from kodi & use apks unless they next on the hit list

Mine is still working so far and Exodus

Have disabled auto update so it cant be auto deleted

KODI is now public enemy no.1 to the industry. It will never be an easy ride. Move on. Nothing to see.

@JonMMM, is there a global option to turn off automatic updates in Wookie 2/7/17 that you know of?

I'm sure it used to be there...

I dont use wookie, I always create my own build of about 5 or 6 addons, they do everything I need and with so few addons you can create great menus to get you exactly the feel that you want

Aye, it does install a lot of stuff I never use. Then all of the instructions are for Kodi that I find :).

I don't think Wookie ever autoupdated the actual build itself?
I think you can turn off the repo/ add-on updates somewhere in the settings.

It doesn't auto-update itself but I meant turn off all add-on updates without having to do each one individually :).

Disabling auto-updates is not really the best idea for all addons and repo's. Updates are needed for the addons to work correctly.
Also builds do not auto update, they need maintaining. The addons will auto update as long as it is maintained by the dev and the repo url is not changed. When the repo url is changed this needs to be updated either by the user changing to the new url or installing an updated build version if the build is being maintained and updated. If this is not done the addon will become outdated and not work correctly.

To turn auto updates off setting, system, addons then choose your option, may vary on different skins..

I'm sure it used to be in there but it isn't now!

I was thinking I'd get more streams if I left auto-update on...

Had a problem with Poseidon earlier, it hung Kodi so I killed the process. After restarting Kodi it was purged automatically (corrupt perhaps?) took me a couple of goes to install it again. Maybe I didn't delete cache.
