I have my brand new genuine Sunray vu solo2. I have fitted a hard drive connected everything and turned it on.
I have on the screen VU+ Black hole, starting GUI.
Now what?

Can somebody please tell me how to make pictures appear, I'm going to miss Heartbeat!

Do I look stupid?

Yes is the answer. On screen. VU+ BLACK HOLE starting gui. nothing happens. Please help.

Mate you have the HDMI cable inserted?Otherwise just put another image on it,you can put a Genuine Open PLI 4.0 or a SAFE image from oure downloads here http://www.digitalworldz.co.uk/downloads.php?do=cat&id=125 please take a USB format these to FAT32,download and install a image from oure downloads and i think it will work!

Dont worry, youll be allright, step by step!

If you have absolutely no ideas then you will need to read all the stickies on the forum.
Normally members read a fair bit then ask for help when they get stuck.
If you dont have a cs either no channels on 28e will clear except fta.

Plan B. On a sticker on top of the box it said only to download images from dreamoem I am gong to tyr openvix-for-sunray2
fingers crossed.

How do you tell which version you have? eg V3 V2

your best using open vix if your new to the box it's easier to setup than blackhole

Progress (And then some)
I have successfully flashed openvix-for-sunray2
I played around and set up satellite config.
Now searching 42% 394 channels found.
I'll never find heartbeat.

Ok getting there. No sound. Picture doesnt fit screen. Any ideas?

Picture fix..... Menu button on remote then Setup/System/User interface/Position setup

Sound could be needing tweaked through Audio button on remote

Sound fixed, setting on amp.
I have a line now. How do I install it. I have openvix

FTP in to the box and navigate to the etc folder.

The CCcam.cfg assuming you have installed CCcam is in there, right click the config select edit and enter your line. Then reboot.

I have found my etc but no cccam. I cant install cccam until it is configured and I cant configure until it is installed
