Flash Your SOLO2 for RS232, is possible?

Why such a secret?
dont know if this will work
but if you have a bricked solo2
then no harm will be done trying
i have made a vu solo2 NFI image
only try to install this if your vu solo2
wont flash via usb or is acting like its bricked
install as last resort
do it at your own risk
the image is blackhole 2.0.9.1
the image was made by nfi-image tools
unzip the nfi and install with Vu + Util.
but if you have a bricked solo2

This a verry good idea @davvvo but there is one problem,VU UTILL doesnt recognise a Bricked Solo2...As i know there are versions VU ITLL and VU UTILL+ and both of them dont make the connection with a bricked Solo2...Ive still got my Cousins bricked unit here so i am willing to try youre trick mentioned above..But i have a few questions:
Is it possible to do it without VU UTILL?I mean install the firmware on the HDD and put this in the Solo2,would that do the trick?
Tryd that bro...With several Dreamup versions...No succes....No dcc connection...

Ok i understand that i u want to use meoboot or ure trick mentioned above,you must have meoboot installed on the Bricked Solo2?
That might be a problem,cause on my cousins there is no Meoboot installed..
But i think ure trick should eventualy work but there are a few things whom need to be fixed,these are:
On a bricked Solo2,NULL MODEM with VU UTILL/VU UTILL+/DREAMUP dont work,i havent found a JTAG utility or another way to bring the Solo2 half alive,
It would be perfect if the Solo2 would read the HDD instead of the Flash and would start from the HDD
I will play with youre idea and try a few other tricks....But eventualy we will succeed ;-)

I dont think anyone has managed to sort out anything yet but a few are trying hard and experimenting with a few things.

oc:update I dont think I have any ip address issued from router,,
also the ethernet socket lighs do flash on the back.
