What's the best way to add maps ?

Have you got a USA map and just looking for the meta file or are you looking for a map plus instructions?

I've got the map (downloaded from PC tailor) but there doesn't seem to be a meta file attached to the download. I've got the instructions for installing tomtom on a navigo and have done that no problem with the western euro map, it says that all I need to do is steps 4 to 8 again, but the download doesn't come with a meta file attached

I think I may not have the most up to date maps of america anyway, I'll away and look for the 720 version that HH was using

Hi to all,

Just joined forum 2nd post, so hopefully you can make sense of my ramblings.

I have a tt go 700 (fixed memory) and have upadated maps up to now. Presently running v7.903 Western Europe and have been using keygen and midi file approach.

Reading your info I get the impression an ungrade is still possible with v8.... maps although last comments about unstable are worrying. I dont mind a bit of hassle from unit as I think upgrade may be possible. Any comments advice appreciated.

Having now read all posts on this thread:banana, been up since 4am, living in France, cant sleep, worrying about housebuild....This is certainly great site and now consider chance for TT700 to last longer.
Now realise I am using Western Europe v 675.1409 mapand not v7.903
I am confused on variations on maps to use Tt or navico? Any help or tuts would be appreciated.

Has anyone else had difficulty downloading the tools posted at the top of this post?
I have copied new maps to my SD card but when the TT boots is comes up with a unique code and wants me to connect to the internet. I was hoping to sort this with the tools in this post.

use this connect ur satnav to the comnmputer and run this
its just point and click it will crack the maps for u
