Tuner not Recognised after Software Update

Hi,

I did a software update (through plugin) on DM800HD (Clone) yesterday and did not take backup of original system. I now find that, though I still have all original bouquets for Astra 28.2, tuner is not recognised following update "Service Unavailable. Check tuner configuration."

I know very little about technical issues but can see an option to restore to factory settings. I would like your help to guide me towards the least difficult solution.

Using 2.01 sim #84a . Also showing the following : Open PLI 2.1; Kernel 2.6.18; Enigma May 10 2014.

reflash you box with patched image or flash image and bootloader 84d

always backup your tuner drivers before updating that way you always have them handy

Thanks for your replies - but a bit more guidance needed :

When you say "reflash you box with patched image or flash image and bootloader 84d" - is this done by pressing "restore factory settings" with handset?

flash image by browser

get ip of box by holding in power button on boot up

image must be suitable for your sim type

Many thanks to this forum ... I have now successfully uploaded new image to DM800 and everything working fine again
