Does anyone still use Usenet these days?

Yes !!
I've always found Usenet much faster and by using the right sites I find I get a lot less fakes and/or files with worms, malware and viruses.

IRC is a fairly good resource for stuff, XDCC bots and are usually quite fast

I've also found one of the multitude of pirate proxy sites to be good, also YIFY is great if your ISP hasn't blocked it.

yep kickass for me but its becoming harder to access and navigate i normally stick with uploaders juggs,piratepedia and yifi .
