Tom Tom 300 Problem

Hi all

I have a tom tom 300 worked ok for some time then went to switch it on the other day and the screen was all white and that all i can get

Anyone else had this problem and can help?

when you apply pressure to the screen can you see the picture? same thing happened to me a couple of months ago, sent it of to tomtom and they said that they couldnt fix it. checked on ebay and someone was willing to change the screen for £80. so before i did that i though let me check the connection. i unscrewed all of it, gave the unit a good blow, connected it all up and its all working fine.

have u installed anything on it mate i put that media settings on my dads and messed it up big time it wouldent boot up and the screen went white will lines going threw it i had to restore the card and works fine

Can i ask how you restored you card ?

just do me a favour and apply a bit of pressure to the screen that way we know what wrong.

ok i apply pressure on the screen and still nothing

it has to be quite a bit of pressure, do it with both thumbs at the same time.

hi if do aply pressure becareful because i done this and now its damage the screen.:Mad2: its easy to restore the but you should have backed it up from the start?
